Mike Regan, DMDPlease allow me to introduce myself: My name is Mike Regan. I grew up in Southeast Portland and graduated in 1980 from La Salle High School in Milwaukie, Oregon. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Carroll College in Helena, Montana, in 1984. I attended the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry and received my DMD degree in June of 1988. I continued my dental education with a one year comprehensive General Dentistry Residency in the U.S. Army following my graduation. From 1989 to 1992, I was stationed in Germany and served in the Gulf War from December 1990 to May of 1991. I spent a total of 6 1/2 years serving my country. My duty stations consisted of Ft. Campbell, KY; Grafenwoehr, Germany; Ft. Sam Houston, TX and Ft. Lewis, WA. In October of 1994, I started my private dental office in Milwaukie, Oregon. About five years later, I moved to my current location on Lake Road, to serve my patients better with to a much larger work area and state of the art equipment. I have been placing and restoring dental implants since 1995. I am one of the leading General Dentists in the Milwaukie area treating patients with Invisalign®. I am a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, ICOI, AO and two local dental societies. My wife Robin and I have been married since 1986 and have 4 wonderful children, Stasi, Andrew, Travis, and Erich. In my spare time, I love to golf, travel, and spend quality time with my family, especially with my five beautiful grandchildren. My promise to you is to make your dental experience with me and my dental team as painless as possible, and one that is most enjoyable. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and having you as part of our "DENTAL FAMILY." Dr. Mike completed his 6th International Dental Mission; this one was in Ocho Rios Jamaica, with Great Shape!, 1000 Smiles, the World's largest dental service project. Dr. Mike took a team of 5, (Dr. Mike, Robin, Becky, Lila, and Lily) they joined 47 others from around the USA and RDHs from Jamaica. The group of 52 was split between 3 clinics and an educational team. His clinic had 8 chairs, 2 chairs for hygiene, 2 chairs for Oral surgeons out of New York State and 4 general dentistry chairs. Our small clinic of 8 chairs, with a team of 24, with assistants and support staff, did more dentistry than the larger clinic of 12 chairs, our team was incredible. We saw over 450 patients from the age of 3 to 78, in a 5-day work week. The patients were wonderful and appreciative. We had the opportunity to work with dentists from Seattle, Missoula, Silicon Valley and New York. We all became good friends, and we shared our love and compassion with those patients in need of care. Some patients had been putting of the needed work for years and we continued to promote oral health to our patients in the Ocho Rios area of Jamaica. He spent a lot of time educating as many partners and children as he could. Dr. Mike is already planning for his 2024 Mission trips and if anyone is interested in joining to help those in need, he would love to have you contact him. There are many ways to help those in need with your time, talent or treasure. |
